It amazes me how the right people just find me and we instantly connect. Kacy had somehow found me or saw my images online and started following me. And, then as they started to plan their wedding her and Delaney had different wants when it came to photography. Kacy wanted images that showed true emotion between them. Delaney wanted images that showcased the landscape around them. Which I get!  They live in Lethbridge, Alberta…. I love my Canadians. Flat land. Big sky country of Montana times a million. With their wedding taking place on a lake in the mountains of BC they wanted something other than Lethbridge for their engagement photos and came down to Glacier National Park.

Meeting for the first time just felt like seeing an old friend once again. I LOVE when that happens! We drove through every part of Glacier that we were allowed. Exploring bogs or what they chose to call a “slough.” Walking along the lake. Hiking trails. Kacy later told me that they were concerned whether we could get images of them genuinely laughing and smiling. They NAIL the serious in look in images and admitted the don’t, maybe can’t, smile in photos…. what on earth you two?! Knock it off! Cause I’m here to tell ya you should! And I have proof!!

So pumped for their wedding coming up…. in 2016! AH!!! I have to wait! I’ll think I’ll survive. Just so grateful we finally got to cruise together a bit!
