She met him on the first tee box at the Missoula Country Club. And from the moment on they spent the rest of the day with the biggest smiles on their faces and held each others hands tight.

I’ve sat here for far too long writing and deleting, writing and deleting. Trying to figure out how to share Amber and Andrew with you that actually measures up to them, their love and they’re amazing wedding day. But nothing comes out good enough. So I’ve decided that I’m going to let them tell you…. in a way.

They stood at the altar hand in hand and Andrew started… he promised…

“To love you without limit. I promise not to forget our past, keeping in mind how hard we worked together to create our life and to cherish what we have. To challenge you and inspire you to be the best person you can be, the same way you challenged me and inspired me to be the man standing before you.

I promise to respect your opinion, regardless of my own, and to support your arguments, even when I disagree with them. I promise to apologize when I make mistakes – which I undoubtedly will.

I promise to counsel you when you have questions – of which you have millions. I promise to nurture your quirkiness, because I cannot live without it.

I promise to be sympathetic when you need me to be and show emotion even though you sometimes think I am incapable. I promise that the good days will out number the bad; but nevertheless, to be present and comfort you when they happen.

I promise to always be there; to support this union every day, with the same hard work, perseverance and tenacity with which you do – and to do my part in making this marriage our shared masterpiece.”

Amber wiped the tears from her face and her shaking hands opened her vow book and looked up at Andrew.

“Andrew – All my life I’ve prayed that I would find my true love, my other half, my soulmate and I thank God everyday that I found you. I have been waiting my whole life to marry you, even when I was a little girl I would think about my future wedding and my future husband, and I can honestly say that you are more than I ever dreamed of.

I really do feel like the luckiest woman on the planet that I get to marry you today, that I get to wake up next to you for the rest of my life, that I have you to support, encourage and protect me, that I have you as my partner in this journey of life.

You are the perfect balance in my life, you keep me grounded but at the same time you lift me up. You are my biggest supporter, ally and confidant. I know that you and I together can face the world better than either of us could alone. Life is better with you and I am a better person because you love me. I know that from this day forward I will never walk alone, I will be loved unconditionally and I will always have a home in your arms. Your compassion and love is infectious, from the day we met, you have inspired me to be a better woman because you are such a good man.

I can’t wait to grow old with you by my side.

I have truly found the one whom my soul loves.”

Amber and Andrew your day was beyond words. So incredible. I’m so happy I could photograph and witness your love, happiness and big day 🙂
