Amber and Andrew had their hearts set on doing their engagement photos in Glacier National Park. That naturally meant we were gonna go on an adventure. Glad we went out and did it last weekend but the road closed through part of the park due to snow, and we wouldn’t have been able to go out to Hidden Lake! Snow. Yeah, we’re good planners 😉
We went up to Logan’s pass to trek out to overlook Hidden Lake. Shoving stuff we might want into my backpack and Andrew carried it out there, like a gentlemen. Who cares that my backpack is bright pink 🙂  Amber and I threw on some flip flops and giggled as people passed us gawking at our flip flops and her in a dress. Or making comments of how she was the most glamorous out there, in a backhanded compliment kinda way. Or so brave for walking that far in flip flops (1.5 miles out and 2/3 of the trail is a boardwalk…. real tough). And when they weren’t gawking at what we were wearing they were unimpressed with me trying to pet some mountain goats. I waited til they all got their pictures! 😉 Glacier is seriously like a backyard to me. And it was clear that we were either locals or complete idiot tourists. Either way peoples reactions to us were hysterical.
Two of the hottest people on the planet in one of the most incredible places in the world….. magic. I’ve been dying over these photos. From tunnels, to hiking out to a cliff, making our own way off the path, climbing across huge rocks in the river, walking in the lake and making up our own versions of songs…. it was an adventure with a few shenanigans.
I am so excited for their wedding next summer. Can’t believe I pretty much have to wait a year!!! Then again, it’s gonna fly by before we know it!!! Â Until then…..
