Just you - your people, the salt air, golden light spilling across the sand - actually being together for an hour while someone captures what that looks like. That's it. That's the whole thing.
I'm Jackie, and I photograph families along the Oregon Coast with the intention that each a moment in time is worth keeping. Based in Lincoln City, I work the stretch of coast from Pacific City down to Newport - the less-crowded, genuinely gorgeous part of the Oregon Coast that locals know and visitors discover once and never forget.
What a session with me actually looks like
No posing prompts that make everyone freeze up. No awkward "hug each other" directions. I'll give you something to do - walk together, skip rocks, chase the dog, hold hands and look at the water - and photograph what happens naturally from there. All chaos included!
Together we'll determine the best location and lighting for you. Whether it's a special place for you or you need help choosing I'm here!
The images you end up with won't look like stock photos. They'll look like you, on any given evening, just on a specific stretch of beach, living life together. These are the moments worth saving.

Kids can run, dogs can come, nobody has to stand still for long. You'll end with images that feel less like a photoshoot and more like a really good evening your family had together.

I'm Jackie! I've been a wedding and elopement photographer for the last 16 years. Which means I've spent decades photographing people in the most emotionally charged moments of their lives - and have learned to make them comfortable enough to forget the camera is there.
I live in Lincoln City with my French bulldog Bill, who may or may not photobomb your session. I mean it when I say this coastline is my backyard.
I believe presence is the most luxurious thing you can give the people you love. It's not the perfect outfit or a perfect pose - it's time. Undistracted quality time together. That's what we're making here.
