When I first started my business I bought business cards. It’s what you’re supposed to do. I ordered them from a lab. Just simple paper, a photo on one side and my website and info on the other. Honestly I hated them. I quickly got rid of them and haven’t bought new ones in the 3 years since!!

I’ve been in need of them. I know this. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been asked for one… just in the Starbucks drive-thru.  Every time I’d put a new one together I wouldn’t click add to cart and order. I wasn’t ever happy with my branding. I always wanted a new logo. Was constantly changing my website. And I couldn’t bring myself to click buy on new cards if I knew I was probably going to change stuff soon.

At the end of 2013 I did a whole new relaunch and rebrand of my business, based on the WHO and WHY of me. I’ve never been so happy with my brand. A website that I’m still obsessed with several months later. And a new logo that is my signature, which won’t change. It was time to get new cards!

But which ones? From where?! I can’t bring myself to spend tons of money on a business card that someone may or may not just throw away. But I knew I wanted a thick card.
