FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where are you based? Do you travel?
I call the Oregon Coast home :) But hell yes I travel! Until the fall of 2024 I lived in Montana and still photograph in Montana + Wyoming regularly. But, I live to travel. I photograph weddings all over the country + the world every year + love seeing the places that set my couple's hearts on fire! Let's go!
How long have you been a photographer?
I first picked up my camera 15 years ago photographing my kid. They taught me that I could preserve people's beautiful moments without interfering with who they are, how they interact + see the connection between people as they are. I see you.
How many images do we get?
This varies.
I don't deliver a set number of images. Every couple, every shoot, every event is different. Trust me you'll have more images than you'd ever imagine, these moments are so special.
Will you photoshop us?
We are all beautiful in our own ways. I only see this in you. I am always using the best positioning, direction, light, etc to make sure you look your best. I'm your new best friend, I'm gonna make sure you look AMAZING! Embrace yourself babe! If you have anything you're especially self conscious of let me know! I get it, I have my own!
Because of this I don't photoshop your damn good lookin' selves aside from any overly noticeable temporary blemishes like bruises, scrapes, a zit appearing in the middle of your forehead cause why wouldn't it show up on the best day ever?! Those I'll happily help out with during editing :)
What if the weather is bad?
Go with it! If only we could control the weather, but really I think everything works out simply as it's supposed to. And most often when you choose to embrace what the universe has sent your way it always turns out so beautiful + unique.
If the weather is truly unbearable, there is no other location option or if my gear were to get ruined I will reschedule with you!
Can you help me with what to wear?

I'm currently working on a full guide to help with what to wear to your shoot. In the meantime send me your ideas of outfits. We'll discuss how you feel in them + they compliment you + your desired location! I'm here to help you whenever you need it!
What’s the turnaround time?
Wedding galleries are delivered 4-6 weeks after the wedding day.
Portrait shoots are delivered within 3 weeks.
There are options to rush images if needed.
What’s the payment schedule?
I require 50% of your wedding or portrait collection due at booking as a non-refundable retainer with the contract.
Remaining balance for weddings is due 1 month before the wedding date.
Remaining portrait shoot balance is due 5 days before your session.
What happens if we need to reschedule/cancel?
Life happens. Let's talk! Every scenario is different.
I take on an exclusive number of events per year to maximize time with my loves. So dates each year are already limited. Know that deposits are non-refundable retainers, to move/cancel your date it may be forfeited + a new retainer is due for a new date.
