Mesmerized by the way two people love each other, each so uniquely.  I always leave room for dessert. Believe swear words are just sentence embellishers. Think indulgences are necessary in this life.

Love stories in all forms without the white dress... or maybe they wore white, it happens.

Just my little thoughts on different topics of planning your wedding day big party or just you two.

Stories of two lovers making it all about them, as they should.

Oh my gosh, where to start, where to start.  When Sydney and Aaron asked me to be their wedding photographer I pretty much did happy dances daily, for weeeeeeeks.  I was sooo pumped to come up to the beautiful city of Vancouver that I love and photograph a wedding of a GORGEOUS couple.  But they became more than that. I ADORE them. Truly adore them.  They have been together for 8 years and are so very much in love. And, so carefree and fun. I love it.

The ceremony was supposed to take place in the rose garden at Queens Park in New Westminster. I was gushing when I saw it in the evening light. However the weather decided to have a mind of it’s own and rain all day on Friday.  Carefree Sydney decided not to fight the rain and move it indoors to their reception location at the Centennial Lodge in Queens Park. The grooms mother, Carmen, did an AMAZING job making it look fabulous in that one little place. It was a gorgeous wedding. The reception was by far the most fun I’ve ever had at a reception.

Sydney works at a dance studio and there were a few dance numbers including one from the bridal party. LOVED it. Games. Photobooth. Candy bar. Delicious food. Lots of tequila shots. And TONS and TONS of good dancing. These two chose to really celebrate their day and celebrate they did with incredible friends and family.

Sydney and Aaron CONGRATULATIONS!! I am so happy and so proud of you two! Cheers to eight years of amazing love and I wish decades upon decades of more.

I loved that these two had different ideas for their pictures with their bridal parties. The girls wanted to head down to a little pub cause it resembled so much past times of Sydney and Aaron. And Aaron chose to take the boys to their old high school that most of them graduated together from. And seriously, these photos fit them SO perfectly.

And a HUGE shout out to my dear friend Justine for all of her help!!! I am so appreciative of her coming along and second shooting for me 🙂  She even captured a little behind the scenes action 🙂 Thank you Justine!
