Tess is definitely my kinda girl. Energetic. Adventurous. And dances when she’s happy. Nick is the perfect match for her. He brings her back down to earth. Well just a little. And she reminds him to not be so serious. And their friends, just like them. Example number one of why this group is awesome. At one point during bridal party photos we realized we were missing a groomsman. Honestly we thought he was trying to pick up a date for the wedding, haha.  But after a few minutes he arrived with ice cream. You can’t even be upset at someone for disappearing during photos for ice cream.  Actually we all wondered why we hadn’t thought of the idea. Tess wanted this ice cream as soon as she saw it. So his ice cream quickly became hers. And she quickly began feeding it to other groomsmen. HAHA.  You want to be her friend right now don’t you?!

I was lucky enough to spend my Saturday with these fun people. Riding around on this fun trolley. I know, I’m livin the dream. It was amazing.

Tess and Nick are amazing, separately and even more so together. And the people that fill their lives are nothing short of amazing. A day full of laughs, dancing, goofing around, and tears. Tears of joy. Wedding days don’t get better than this.

Tess wanted to set up a first look of sorts with her dad before the ceremony. She’s an only child. His baby girl. And she warned that tears would flow. And there were tears from EVERYONE present.

I LOVE looking, finding and capturing the emotion of a couples family during their ceremony.

It was SO hard to pick just a few photos to share on the blog. Especially because their reception was AWESOME. They inspired me to do a blog post this fall, or two or so of the best reception and dancing photos of the summer. Cause there are some REAL good ones. Til then…
