AH!!!!  This last year and a half has been a crazy journey. With Fight Club and working with my business coach turned dad, Jeff Jochum, on breaking through my jawbreaker shell to discover, accept, own, love & celebrate the core of me. Who I am. What I stand for. What fulfills me. You see as photographers we all love picking our camera up in the morning. We all love growing in our craft. We love preserving moments. BUT, what we do doesn’t set us apart. Who we are, does.

I’m impulsive. I’m daring. I’m loud.

I believe that you should never hold back laughter. No matter how ridiculous it is, belt it out. Planning what’s next takes the excitement out of here and now. I think that thinking just leads to over-thinking. So, just do it. Life is about taking chances, taking risks. And if you aren’t you taking chances and risks well then ya just aren’t living. I just go with my gut, and every time I don’t I end up coming back and going with what it told me to do to begin with. And I’m all about pretending to be Canadian while traveling, just to see if I can get away with it. And often, I do 😉  Yelling is totally acceptable, especially when you’re excited.  Sunrises must be magic for I see them rarely. And I prefer my feet dirty. They are proof of a days adventures.

I believe people hold back. In all areas of life. I want you to stop. I want to inspire you to be daring. To let it out. To chase after that which makes you really happy and don’t you dare look back. Scream and holler the whole way for life is a journey you get once. Life should be a celebration. Don’t hold it in. Or hold it back. I believe in you, and that you are more than you give yourself credit for!
