Carolina and I had chatted on the phone a few times but other than that I wasn’t totally aware of the greatness I was walking into when I knocked on her hotel room door Saturday. But whoa. A Columbian beauty and her family and closest friends with a her Cuban charmer and his family and closest friends from Miami Beach coming together in Glacier National Park, Montana and then throw a British brother-in-law into the mix. What a great time!!
I loved that even though Carolina & Abe chose to keep things simple they were very intentional in what they did do. Starting their day each alone to later be joined by their friends and family for the final getting ready touches and lots of toasting. A beautiful ceremony on the shores of Swiftcurrent lake, complete with spanish translation for their parents. A cozy dinner with one table for 18 people to toast and tell stories. Followed by a boat cruise around the lake with the ones they love the most. Sharing cake, chocolate covered strawberries, lots of champagne to go around, some dancing and plenty of laughter.
And after the boat cruise Carolina & Abe took a little row boat out themselves onto the lake at sunset. And holy magic!!! I’m so in love with the images from those moments.
And to end the night every guy in attendance stripped down and jumped into the lake. Cause…. why wouldn’t you?!! So fun watching them just enjoy time with their friends and family and not worrying about little frills or the ideas of others on how weddings should go. For them this is exactly how it should go.
I’m so grateful these two asked me to be their photographer! I had the best time. Love their friends and family and now have to plan a trip to Miamiiiiiii!!!!!! 😉 Have the BEST time in Spain and Switzerland!!!

I just love this image. Carolina gifted Abe a custom viewfinder that included images of them throughout their relationship. The smile on his face as he looked through it was just pure joy!
These two wanted to spend as much time with their friends and family who all came so far for their big day that they decided on a day after session a couple days later to get more portraits of them as well as explore other areas of the park. So much fun driving through the park with them in the backseat, exploring and capturing a few more moments. These are some of my faves!!
