This wedding…… oh. my. gosh. It was a dream. Every single thing about it. They’re a dream couple. With the best family. And the best taste. They came up to Montana this winter for their engagement session and I absolutely fell in love with them. I couldn’t wait for their wedding. Marlena had this vision for her wedding at her parents vacation home just outside Missoula MT. And as she explained it to me I had this grand vision of an amazing wedding. And it lived up to every bith of that grand vision. Long tables in the front yard with lights strung between the trees. Details galore. A simple ceremony location across the pond. A walk along the pond showcasing their love story. Notes to each other. Cards. Plane tickets. Event tickets. It goes on. At one point I even wondered if they hired models for their guests because not only were they beautiful but they so was every person there. And the best maid of honor “speech” ever. Which actually was a song. A song the maid of honor wrote to the beat of several songs mixed together. And it was unreal! I wanted to run and grab my phone to video it as I photographed it, that good! Haha. And her second dress for dancing…. I died. I want it!
Their story is the sweetest and one of my faves. Ryan has been best friends with Marlena’s older brother since preschool. Before Marlena was even born. And at 12 or 13 Marlena told Ryan, one day, she was gonna marry him. And here they were about 13 years later getting married. When a girl knows what she wants she goes after it. They are absolutely perfect for one another. And Ryan and his best man are truly brothers now 🙂
I actually went on vacation the morning after their wedding and it’s taken me so long to edit their wedding because every night as I sat down to edit I’d spend more time staring in awe of this incredible day rather than editing. And normally I don’t share this much of a wedding, but you will see… how could I not share a zillion photos from this wedding?!? I’ll stop talking and let the images speak.
