Paige asked me if I’d be open to doing a couples session with her and Russ. She really just wanted some nice photos of them that they could put up in their homes. Something more than just snapshots here and there. She sparked the idea for the launch of Couples Sessions being offered this month and next. Photo sessions aren’t (and shouldn’t) just be for engagement sessions and weddings. Celebrate the life you have right now. That’s what this is about. Collecting moments to remember.

We met up Sunday at noon. The weather was really nice and according to the reports it was going to rain that afternoon. So we all pulled ourselves out of bed and got ready much earlier than planned. Let’s just be honest here, most guys are not really super stoked for photos. But Russ. He was EXCITED. Okay no, he wasn’t. He’s like every guy and there for his lady. But every time he’d look at Paige, or wrap is arms around her, grab her hand. It seemed like he forgot we were taking photos. That was where he belonged. It was his comfort zone. And for Paige it was her safe place. She’d squeeze him a little tighter. And without him doing a thing, her face would light up and a smile would appear. And seconds later things would be said like ‘Your boots are ugly….’ and we’d all bust out laughing, loud & hysterically. The way you should laugh 😉
