Dave has been like an older brother to me for the last 11 years. And by older, well I mean old! 😉 Over the years he’s kinda been keeping me in check. One day during a conversation he brought up that he had met Jayde. I’ve teased Dave over the years cause he has a “two year rule” usually 2 years is when it gets to serious and he bows out 😉 Well the day came that him and Jayde had been together for 2 years. I heard SO much about her, secretly loved her without her knowing, and was hoping she made “the cut.” I joked with Dave, “Sooooo 2 years? ….time to let her down gently.” His reply was “….. I think I’m going to keep this one around for 3.” From that moment I knew Jayde was it. Wasn’t too much later that they were engaged. And I receive a call from Dave asking for wedding photography. There really is NOTHING better than photographing the wedding of someone close to you. Even better, they were getting married in Big Timber! I was so excited to see them and meet Jayde, and the kids. This wedding was unlike any wedding I’ve done before. Especially in the sense that we were all camping together, having a good time. It felt like hardly any work was done there!
Dave and Jayde, thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your day. I couldn’t be more honored . Love you both dearly! Now pack up your things in Odessa, Texas and move up here! So here are few images of Dave, Jayde and their family from their wedding weekend in Big Timber!
I LOVED their boutonnieres. They had duck calls (Dave is an avid duck hunter), train whistle, fishing lures, so cute!
The day after the wedding we went to Natural Bridge just a few miles south of Big Timber to take some fun family photos 🙂
Dave’s ladies.
And his boys!
