A few months ago I posted a blog post about some areas I’d like to start photographing weddings. Places that drew me to them, with couples who were just as drawn there and for the same reasons. Tahoe was one of those locations. Minutes after posting that blog a good friend and fellow wedding photographer posted up in our local FB group that she was so excited she was just asked to be a bridesmaid in one of her dearest friends weddings. But that meant she couldn’t shoot it so she was wondering if anyone had recommendations of people they knew or admired in the Tahoe area. People gave some suggestions. I just messaged, I’ll go! A week later Amy emailed about wedding photography and the rest is history.

These two are SO much fun!  Joe came along as my second (he couldn’t miss out on Tahoe either). And even now days later he’s still talking about how much fun the boys were. The ceremony took place at Lakeside Beach right on Lake Tahoe. Gorgeous view as the sun was going down. And a reception followed down the street at the Embassy Suites. It was truly picture perfect. And with just an hour to photograph the ceremony, family photos, bridal party and their portraits. We totally rocked it out!

Amy and Justin thank you, thank you, thank you for having us along on this adventure. It could not have been more perfect!  Congratulations you two!
