Schweitzer Mountain Sandpoint ID Wedding Photos Couple Kissing

I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot on a season of intimate weddings. There is something SOOOOO special about a “destination” wedding with just your family and your absolute closest friends. A day spent just… together. A small and short ceremony. Laughter and celebratory champagne toasts with these people you love so dearly. Followed by a chill evening dinner and just hanging out, being together. Surrounded with those that mean the most.

Kassy & Landis asked me to head up to Schweitzer Mountain to photograph their short ceremony on the top of the mountain looking over the valley. And I was SO in. Such an honor to witness such an event and spend a little time with them. They are perfect together.

They live in North Dakota, but Landis came many years ago with a friend to Sandpoint, Idaho. He knew right away that one day he’d own a vacation home there. And not only that, but one day he’d even get married there. Well he bought his vacation home. And last weekend, he married Kassy there. Everything they could have ever wanted.
