Ristine danced all morning. Allllll morning. Just ready to get to the reception and dance. This was the biggest group of chill people I’ve ever seen. An 18 person bridal party just taking their time getting ready, setting things up, hanging out. It was awesome! I believe couples should never be rushing on a wedding day. This time I actually approached Ristine and said yea girlfriend you should probably start getting ready 😉
Ristine & Tanner decided to have a first look, and not just the typical first look. Rather than just having a moment to themselves to see each other and take it all in they decided to follow that up with sharing the vows they wrote to each other then instead of during the ceremony. It was so sweet. Ristine wiped tears from her eyes as Tanner did his best to not let his fall. They stood their face to face, holding hands, making promises to one another.
This group of people were a blast! Tanner and Ristine have surrounded themselves with amazing individuals. Such a testament to who they are individually and as a couple.
Their wedding is the first time in my career I have left a wedding. Unfortunately that evening a medical concern came up. Ristine and Tanner had FIVE doctors as guests at this intimate wedding!!!! And, after strong encouragements from them and some of their family members I reluctantly went to the hospital. My second shooter Ashley took over and Danielle, a guest at their wedding, came up to me and said she was a photographer and asked if she could help my second shooter. What a great community the photo world is! Ashley and Danielle crushed the reception. Thank you sooooo much to you two but also to Ristine, Tanner, your family and friends for the fun, the laughs, your encouragement and concern. I feel so lucky to have “clients” like you. Thank you so much for your checking in on me as well. You all are amazing!!! I am doing really well. Your day was incredible!
Ristine & Tanner, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
XOXO
