I love it when you first meet someone and the hug you share is so tight it’s as if you were picking up your best friend at the airport… that you haven’t seen in years. That’s exactly how it was when I met Lindsey for the first time this last weekend. Although I had already thought it might be like that since we discovered so many connections in our emails before their engagement session. And after as I started sharing teasers on the Facebook Page it became apparent this was meant to be. We have connections all over the place.

I hear it all the time. “We’re awkward in front of the camera” or something along those lines. Hinting that I’ve got my work cut out for me. But truthfully as soon as a couple says that I know they’re going to be perfect in front of the camera. And indeed these two are proof once again.  I throw out little stuff here and there but never needing to give any real direction. And I love it. It allows me to photograph these two just as they really are.

As fun as it was meeting up with these two hotties in Whitefish, I can’t wait for their wedding later this summer in glacier country 😉
