TWO YEARS!!!! These two have been married for almost two years. It often feels like every wedding I’ve photographed happened last summer. I have no real perception that they could have happened before that. I’m always so bummed when a wedding is over. Can it just go on forever?! Can we do it again next summer?! Most of my couples don’t live nearby so we don’t even run into each other we just end up liking and loving everything we all share on social media.

Halley messaged me a few months ago and said they were coming back to town so Jacob could graduate and would be in town for about 2 days so there was one afternoon/night we could do an anniversary sesh. I was in immediately! It was so much fun to get together again and just laughhhhhh. Weather here is unpredictable and constantly changing. So we headed out Friday night knowing the sun wasn’t going to appear but this was all we had. The forecast said it’d be overcast but only a slight chance of rain and if it did rain it be just a trace…..

WRONG!

It was so cold. And sprinkled most of the time but towards the end, or what we ended up having to call the end it down poured. Water dripping off our faces. Halley and Jacob were such troopers and just laughed and had fun through it all and there pictures are INSANE!!!! I don’t know how we could have possibly captured more love and fun. They’re just perfect! Heart eyes for dayyyyyyyys!

I’m so stoked to share these. Thank you two for asking me to photograph you again! I want to do it with all of my couples, over and over and over!!!! Happy early two year anniversary you guys!!!
