Moon Palace Resort Cancun Mexico Wedding Photos Couple Kissing

The day couldn’t have turned out more perfect. There was a 100% chance of rain at their ceremony time and last minute the day before, they decided to move the ceremony to the beach. It didn’t rain. The days before had 20 mph winds. It wasn’t windy. The water had been brown and mucky for days. This day it was blue. She’d never had a hair trial. It turned out exactly as she wanted. Things just fell into place, exactly as they were meant to be. Everything going just right is just an affirmation that all of this is just what’s meant to be.

A couple dozen friends & family members gathered together at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico. A week of shenanigans, never ending drinks, and sunburns. And on Thursday afternoon they joined up on the beach to witness Cam & Jamie say I do to forever, and not just to each other but also to Jamie’s daughter, Harper. Not a dry eye as Cam gave special vows to Harper and placed a ring on personalized necklaces around her neck. That was stunning ! The afternoon included tears and laughter. And gosh it was beautiful.

I am grateful beyond words for this couple. Being in Mexico with them was so much more than just photographing their big day. I met Jamie quite some time ago. But we only met for a short amount of time in an awkward scenario. But years later she Facebook messaged me asking if I could meet with her about photographing her and Cam’s wedding and hoped it wasn’t weird. We met. Didn’t talk wedding at all. She ended up not only becoming my financial advisor but has become one of my closest friends in the last year. I love her daughter, Harper. And, adore Cam. It was a privilege to spend time with them as friends in Mexico on vacation and an incredible honor to photograph them on such a monumental day and document them falling in love with each other over and over throughout the day.

Jamie was stupidly gorgeous, I don’t think I’ve ever taken so many photos of just a bride before. But my gosh I couldn’t help it.

This isn’t the first time they’ve graced the blog and it won’t be the last 😉
