Kerri & Joe had planned this simple elopement ceremony at the courthouse in Missoula MT and then wanted to wander downtown for photos. No pressure. No details to coordinate. Just them. It was so fun to plan through their afternoon wedding walk. Then things started to evolve and they completely rolled with it as it turned into small intimate affair with family and close friends joining them for their ceremony but Kerri & Joe were still set on spending time walking around downtown for photos while they’re guests enjoyed a cocktail hour at the Florence Building and then they invited everyone down to the carousel for a night of fun and cake by the river.  Doesn’t that just sound awesome. Seriously I’d like to have an adult carousel party!

I loved it. No rushing. No stress. No checking time or where this person was or that vendor and how does this look. Just simple. Cause love isn’t fancy.

Just including the things that really matter.

I was so excited to spend an afternoon in my hometown with these two. I was kind of a little kid in a candy store as we walked around downtown, just cause I rarely get to do it. We walked into Bagels on Broadway just to get some water cause it was SOOOOOO hot that day and they refused to let us pay on their wedding day. Gotta love our local shops! It was a blast and they were AMAZING to photograph. I could do it every day! So for real anyone else want to just wander downtown areas after you say I do let’s do it! It’s so fun!!! I’m just crushing on these photos!
