Siobhan + Dan knew that they wanted to get married in Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park and other than that they didn’t care what happened haha. Siobhan would regularly tell me whatever you think is best. Whatever you like for a ceremony spot for us, whatever time lay it out however haha, chill as can be.
They got ready at the hotel on the lake and had their ceremony in a sweet little quiet spot along the lake. They’re immediate family gathered around as Siobhan’s dad walked her from the hotel down by the lake. They had a beautiful little ceremony + vows followed by soaking in the views and toasting champagne.
The rain clouds started to roll in so we made our way back to the hotel and decided cake before dinner was appropriate. Right on the balcony of the hotel they cut their cake and had their first bites by shoving their faces into the cake since we didn’t have forks but Maxx (the most awesome worker at the hotel lol) scrounged up some forks and snuck em out for us lol.
We all ate dinner in the restaurant as it POURED rain the whole time. We timed that all perfectly lol. I LOVED that these two took time during their small wedding to sit down and eat. Often they eat before or wait til we’re done shooting or sometimes we plan our shoot time around food so we’re done by a certain time in these smaller events. But these two said nope we’re gonna eat dinner at dinner time right in the middle and had us join them. I freaking adore them so much for this! Then the rain stopped and we ran out for shenanigans at a waterfall, running through fields and getting the best mountain views possible and finding a rainbow. Those are what elopement dreams are really made of right?!?!S+D I adore you both!!!! Thank you thank you thank you for such a magical day!!!!
Xx, J.
