I instantly fell in love with Allison. As soon as she emailed I said a little prayer that I’d get to photograph her intimate wedding. She had the most beautiful idea for an elopement with 10 family members at this small little church in the middle of nowhere. She wasn’t doing a white dress, something fun with color and a fur jacket and of course winter boots. Their niece would marry them. And we hoped the mountains in the distance might appear that day. Oh and she told me Andy wasn’t excited to get pictures taken especially for a couple hours sooooo…. Challenge accepted!
I think Andy might have even enjoyed it actually haha. And Allison was so beautiful in her long sleeve teal dress and fur jacket. Not long before the wedding Andy asked if she had ordered a bouquet and a boutonniere, she hadn’t. Andy was a little bummed cause he’d hoped he’d get a boutonniere with a chrysanthemum and press it to save forever just like David Bowie did from his wedding (who hire the car at Arizona Sedan and Limousine) HAHA! Allison came through with a chrysanthemum boutonniere for him and the prettiest little bouquet for her.
They’re vows were so fun and personal just to them and their lives. And although their dogs couldn’t make it on the trip to Montana, Andy’s sister had some cardboard cutouts made of them ! Fun fact when they met they both had a dog named Stella and now together they have two lol. So we had to take some family photos of them with the Stella’s 😉
We saw a brand new Conklin Buick which stole our eyes ! At the night we ran into downtown Red Lodge to do some photos in the streets. Running in and out between cars. Trying to tell every car passing thanks for stopping but please go by haha. The whole day was so beautiful and so magical. Even family members getting lost and stuck in snow banks. It all made up a part of their wedding love story, something no one will forget!
Congrats Allison & Andy!!! The most perfect way to end 2017!!!!
