Mesmerized by the way two people love each other, each so uniquely.  I always leave room for dessert. Believe swear words are just sentence embellishers. Think indulgences are necessary in this life.

Love stories in all forms without the white dress... or maybe they wore white, it happens.

Just my little thoughts on different topics of planning your wedding day big party or just you two.

Stories of two lovers making it all about them, as they should.

Everything came to a screeching halt when COVID hit. Ariel + Paul had to cancel their wedding. Rescheduled their wedding. But then in the midst of everything happening in the world around us they gained some clarity what really mattered for them. Just them, forever, and their parents to witness.

Ariel’s family had a home in Big Sky, MT and it’s been a family escape for so long. Winters cozied up and skiing all day. Years ago she brought Paul and fell and in love with the area too and now they come for as much time as they can each year. The idea crossed their mind that maybe they should escape to that place and elope with a view. And a view they got.

Big Sky was starting to buzz a little that day as the resort finally opened after being closed for months due to COVID restrictions. We all hopped on the lift and headed up the mountain. Ariel trailing behind so Paul didn’t see her right way, at least not til they got to the ceremony spot. We climbed a hill of rocks to get the best unobstructed view of Lone Mountain and the surrounding peaks. It was a pretty breathtaking place to share vows and promise a lifetime together.

They shared a champagne toast with their parents after and pointed out their favorite mountain peaks. And then we ventured off to other areas of the mountain and made our way down to a beautiful trail in the Moonlight Basin area for photos and more freakin’ breathtaking views. It just never ends in Big Sky!

So glad these two were able to tie the knot + enjoy a small getaway during this wild year. And this was featured on The New York Times!!! Coolest thing!!! So grateful for such an amazing couple + even to be a part of!
