I was always one of those kids that didn’t really care about my outfit. Just walked through the aisles picked the first one I liked. Trick-or-treated our small neighborhood and was done. Whatever it is I’ve never been into Halloween. And it feels like something crazy always happens and not the awesome kinda crazy. Last year trick-or-treating ended quickly when my child tripped and slammed her face into a cement step up to a house. We were all certain she broke her nose, it was a little gorey ok. To top it off the people that owned the house supposedly had no paper towels, toilet paper, anything or even ziplocs to put ice in. I was concerned about what they were going to do when they needed to go to the bathroom. I mean no toilet paper or anything!!!! 😉
So this year I was totally down with keeping trick-or-treating to a min. Cattie doesn’t need that much candy anyway. And we have a new house and new neighborhood I was excited to hand out candy to kids. Which I gave 2 children large handfuls! Haha. Cattie is clearly our child as she bailed out of trick-or-treating with her cousin early. She was over it. So we went to Home Depot!!! People shop after trick-or-treating, right? I’m convincing myself that someone does. Bought new flooring for the house! So excited to rip out this carpet but it’s going to be longest weekend of housework!
To end the night I broke a tooth! WHAT?! And it wasn’t on candy! Actually I broke a small part of my tooth and the filling in that tooth popped out. While flossing. That’s how awesome I am. Definitely was one of the cool kids calling the dentist this morning!
Hope you all enjoyed the heck out of Halloween. Or at least have a weird/crazy story to tell! Now for the real holidays, Thanksgiving and CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!
