The photo booth. Dear sweet baby jesus.
I’ve been asked to do photo booths before and the answer has always been no. Don’t get me wrong a photo booth is a good time, as a participant. The thought of standing there photographing people hiding behind/in props and then trying to encourage them to do something fun, never really seemed exciting to me. Maybe it would have excited me if I got all the special info. I guess you could say I prefer raw, ridiculousness without hiding and covering in props. Especially if it’s the right crowd.
After the Golden Globes Halley messaged me and said ok what do you think about this. And pitched this idea to me to do a photo booth like the celebrity photo booth at the Golden Globes. Which was amazing. And for whatever reason either she had a super great idea or was really good at pitching the idea… I said ok, yes. And for a minute I slumped and thought “oh shit… what have you got yourself into?” Then I just kept reminding myself that it’s a great idea, hope they have that right crowd. Oh they did. And if there is anyone to help others get awkward and have some fun it really is me. I’m as awkward and ridiculous as they come and totally own it. So please sweet baby jesus let this be epic.
It. was.
I had originally told her lets do an hour of the photo booth. I honestly could have gone allll night if we hadn’t torn apart the backdrop haha. So for that I have devoted an entire blog post to just their photo booth and their incredible friends and family who did not shy away from it. Actually no one left without Halley dragging them to the booth. Everyone did it and my gosh we could cover a wall in their house with the amazingness that happened.
Now for you to enjoy this epic photo booth. And laugh your heart out. You’re welcome.
Love these two? Yea me too… check out the rest of their wedding!
