A few months back Jenny’s dad contacted me about photographing her big day. Immediately I was put on edge. It’s always a little off when someone other than the bride contacts me. Sometimes it’s a mom or a groom but this time it was dad. And usually I assume, if it’s someone other than the bride contacting me this person is controlling. But her dad was so sweet in his emails I decided to risk it and take Jenny on as a bride along with her maybe controlling dad. Turns out…. sweetest guy ever! He is so much fun! I am so happy and feel so lucky to have spent 4th of July night with Jenny, Jarrod and their amazing group of family and friends at her family home outside Missoula MT.
Jenny & Jarrod have one of the cutest dogs of all time, Moose. I was informed over and over how important it was to get photos of Moose as he is their everything. Good thing he’s cute and loves the camera. While doing their portraits he was running around in the back and rolling around. I asked if she minded and she said nope, it was just what she wanted. There is no lack of images of Moose who also has many other nicknames including ‘Silkworm.’ 🙂 And he clearly love them as much as they love him. He even joined them on the dance floor for their first dance.
The night celebrating with them was so relaxed and full of laughter. They are the most chill and laid back couple I’ve ever met! And even though their first dances didn’t start til 11:30 this crowd had no issues dancing into the late night/early morning hours. It’s so great to photograph a group that just wants to have the most fun possible together. I love how their care free and fun nature comes through in every photo.

As Jenny & Jarrod went to meet their friends and family for cocktails I noticed some of the bridesmaids out riding the horses bareback. I told you this group was chill yet so fun!
I had to include some of their reception photos cause their dancing was so fun. And a few of Jenny & her dad during their father daughter dance. Losing my dad when I was 12 I am always so touched every time a bride gets to her dance with her dad and this one was so sweet!
