Lighting workshop out in the Nevada Desert!

Mesmerized by the way two people love each other, each so uniquely.  I always leave room for dessert. Believe swear words are just sentence embellishers. Think indulgences are necessary in this life.

Love stories in all forms without the white dress... or maybe they wore white, it happens.

Just my little thoughts on different topics of planning your wedding day big party or just you two.

Stories of two lovers making it all about them, as they should.

While in Vegas I went to 2 different workshops.  The first I shared yesterday!  The second was a lighting workshop.  Joe and I were really excited about this one.  We’ve been wanting to add some off-camera lighting to our business but really just didn’t know where to start!  Stephen Knuth & Dan Fields led this workshop and it was seriously AWESOME!  I spent about a total of 5 minutes shooting, but while I wasn’t shooting I was just listening, taking it in.  And in that 5 minutes of shooting I was able to capture some great images!  I was trying to take what I was hearing and apply it, shoot a couple minutes, and then pass it on.  We had about 20 people and I kind of figured the quicker I took my shots the quicker it would be my turn again, hahaha 🙂

BUT!! I’m so happy to say that we will be adding off-camera lighting to our sessions yay! We still love natural light and will continue use it! But I would love to bring some of the off-camera lighting in for a few fun shoots.  I mean what groom doesn’t want to look like a rockstar?!  So probably about mid-spring we will be adding this style into each of our sessions 😀

So here are  a few images from the workshop.  Forgive me that they are all alot alike.  I think these were shot over 2 different times for just a few quick minutes.  But I’m SO excited about what I was able to learn and do that I just have to share them all! So thank you to Stephen & Dan for their awesome teaching skills! And enjoy!
