Meg and I went out to happy hour. Had some ahi pizza, had a few drinks. Had a few more drinks. Maybe even some more. Then back home for maybe even another, haha. About this point Meg’s sister, Steph, Facetimed. I honestly don’t clearly remember how the conversation went. Steph is going to France next month and I think at some point she mentioned we should come meet her at the beginning of her trip. Meg and I quickly replied “Yeahhhh! We’ll be there!”

Meg is incredibly spontaneous. I am incredibly impulsive. This combination pushes us into really ridiculous adventures. But honestly, we’re young, and I love every second of it. Even when I am hangry. We have a secret pact of sorts to hold each other accountable when we say we’re going to do something. Being spontaneous and impulsive happen to be some qualities people love about us, and others really despise it. And at times we hear a lot of chatter about how much people don’t like it. And sometimes that can wear on each of us to a point that we hold ourselves back. So we’ve had this unspoken pact to support each other and not let the chatter take down our spontaneous and impulsive desires.

Within minutes of ending that Facetime conversation with Steph she was sending us flight prices. Which were too good to say no to. I’m unsure if at that point our unspoken pact came into play and said you two said you’re going…. so you’re going. Or, if we pinky promised that this was going to happen. Pinky promises are the ultimate promise, by the way. Meg’s parents and part of our Kauai Tribe friends were there, maybe they remember. No guarantees though.

This idea quickly grew. Cause if we were going to Europe we weren’t just going to meet her sister for a couple days in France. And….. we’re not.

Watch out Europe!!! Meg & Jackie are coming. In just 25 days!!!! See, spontaneous & impulsive. And we’re headed to Norway, France and Ireland!! But here’s the thing. We’re meeting Steph in France and she’s a planner of sorts. She’s got us taken care of there. But Meg and I…… planning ain’t our thing. Honestly if the one-way to Oslo didn’t cost more by itself than booking a flight to Oslo AND a flight home from Ireland at the same time, we’d have a bunch of one-way tickets. And neither of us have been to Norway (the Motherland!… turns out Meg is Norwegian to the core too!) or Ireland. And we have a shell of an idea. But what do we do next?!!

If you’ve been we need your help!! Give us some suggestions. No guarantees we will do it all. But suggestions and ideas when we get there would be kinda nice!

And when we get home we’ll die of exhaustion. It should at least be worth it!

It’s still pretty crazy to think Meg & I are taking our adventures across the pond. Actually almost scary!

Thanks in advance for your help on where to go and what to do!  Seriously we need all the help we can get! But I’m so excited to keep dancing around the world with Meg!
