When we were 11 or 12 we’d always want to hang out after school. So we’d pick a house and we’d just get off the bus at that house. We were supposed to ask for permission before we went anywhere but clearly we decided what we wanted to do and we’d ask permission after. After all these years things really haven’t changed there haha. We’d get to the house and then call our parents and ask if we could play together. Ya know the days back before caller id was a common thing, so they didn’t know which house we were at. Yet our dad’s always seemed to know we were already at the other ones house, sooo whatever. At 12 I moved away and we lost touch. Then Facebook came along and we friended each other, talking briefly about some mutual connections but she was gone at ASU and then moved to Colorado and we just remained Facebook friend. And then Trent asked Lauren to marry him. The day she emailed me I was so jacked that this thing I love doing could bring old friends back together.
They got married up at Whitefish Mountain Resort last weekend and it was HOT but so beautiful! Two of the sweetest people with amazing friends and family. We all laughed the entire time. They said I do at the summit and then rode the slide to the bottom of the mountain for their entrance right into their reception and then danced the night away to a live band. I don’t think it gets much better than that!
So so great to reconnect with Lauren AND her maid of honor Jamie. But also such a privilege to have been asked to photograph their wedding. So excited to share some images from their amazing day!!!!
CHEERS you two!!!
XOXO, J.
