I met Katie & Joe up at this little “secret” mountain lake outside Missoula, MT . Ok it’s not a secret it’s on a map but it’s not widely shared. 😉 I drove up and Katie stepped out of the car in this fun blush tulle skirt and heels. I died. I love the juxtaposition of more formal attire in the middle of nature. She even hiked her little way out around the lake a bit for better views of the snowcapped mountains and had their little pup in tow.
They’re gorgeous right? And so so so sweet. The way Joe can get Katie to laugh is so beautiful. She’s stunning when she laughs. We spent the afternoon together laughing and hiking as the sun would hide behind the clouds and then peek out again, over and over. We made our way down the lakeshore and then into the trees on a dead end road. They shared their love story and Katie would just light up over and over again.
Katie & Joe thank you so much for letting me photograph your engagement tucked into the Montana mountains. You two are so very special. I feel so lucky!!
